I don't know about you, but I adore food! It's nourishment for my body, mind and soul. It is as essential to life as breathing, and I have a lot of great memories revolving around food. Yes, I am very passionate about it. I spend a lot of time trying to decide what to eat, where to eat it and if I should eat it...
That is why, It's not surprising that food played a very big role on my last day of the year...

Now, I'm not a root beer drinker, but I could not resist such a huge case of such a delicious beverage. This Root Beer is good. So cold. So smooth. So nice.

Andrew made Gyozas! I'm hoping this recipe becomes a New Years tradition. We filled half of them with shrimp and half with Vietnamese sausage, rolled 'em up with a cabbage mix and fried them (of course anything fried is delicious).
Jammie made her amazing green salsa. Isn't it beautiful, even during it's first stages? I could literally drink this stuff!

My mom always spoils us. She gives us many options. This time by making two amazing soups. Chicken Parmesan
(pictured above) and cheesy potato.
(The picture of the potato soup didn't do it justice...so just imagine it...If you can. yum).
...It just wouldn't be new years eve without the peanut m&ms.

This amazing pumpkin dessert made me go crazy! Both of my moms make the best pumpkin desserts, EVER!

...and the thing I ate more of than anything else...these addicting triscut cheese crackers. Oh my word!
*not pictured, but also eaten...
my moms homemade wheat bread.
chocolate pudding pie with real whipped cream.
Stuffed Green Olives.
...and of course the cheesy potato soup.
IT WAS A GOOD YEAR.
