Brought to you today by the letter D...

D is for Daddy!
It's been a while since I've written on here, but I thought to myself, what better time to get back on then Fathers Day? Am I right?
I wish this picture bigger, so you could clearly see the love that my Daddy has for me. :)
I have the BEST Dad in the world! From toddler tickles to teenage tender letters, he has always showed me how much he loves me. All I can say is that Im sure I have him wrapped around my little finger, because I know that he would do anything for me!

...and how lucky are my boys to also have the BEST Daddy in the WORLD!?!? :)
Our hearts have a huge place for you, Daddy, this weekend and always!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to ALL of YOU AMAZING DADDYS!

Wind of change...

Change is exciting.
Change is scary.

Change is inevitable.

Today, we welcomed change.
We are excited to announce... drum roll please, a career change!
Andrew walked in, asked for a job and walked out employed!
Just like that.
He's been self employed for over 6 years, so it's kinda a BIG deal.
We are excited for the steady work and feel like it's a HUGE answer to our prayers!

I ♥ Dads

I admit it...

Something gets extra soft and gooey inside my heart when I see a Dad with his little ones.

I have come to learn this about myself by watching this manwith our little boys. I love the way his voice changes when he talks to them, and how silly & playful he gets around them. He easily makes them giggle and he does everything he can do to see his little boys happy.
They adore each other.

Happy Fathers Day
to three GREAT men, My amazing Daddy. My husband's wonderful Daddy. and the perfect Daddy to my babies.

The birthday boy♥

Andrew turned 30 this week!

He was born at 12:05a.m. SO, obviously, I had to stay awake until the exact time of his birth so I could put his birthday gift out and see him at the exact moment he turned 30.

Then, we woke up together and started off the morning by watching the news?! What? So old...

Then, he spotted his present across the room and wanted to open it right away. :)
We filled up the rest of the day by watching a 3D movie, playing with our boys, buying diapers, singing "happy birthday" with his parents, eating chocolate cake and having a delicious lunch where we ate fancy adult food like this...

The day proved that 30 year olds have it pretty good...

Happy birthday, sweetheart! I can't imagine my life without you and I can't wait to spend the next 60 birthdays with you...

I LOVE my husband because...

...He understands that I have cravings.

I'm sure he knows that I'm crazy, but still he treats me like I'm a beautiful sane pregnant princess.
The other day I called him on his way home from work and said "please, honey...could you bring me home a Snickers bar with almonds"?
... he knows me well and brought me home, not just one... but TWO!
Of course, I started crying because I was so excited and happy, then instantly began crying again as I realized that the two candy bars were not enough and that they'd be gone in a matter of minutes...
INSTEAD of being confused or frustrated, my sweet husband just got back into the car and drove to the store to buy me a whole box of 24 candy bars!
...thats love.

29 is my lucky number.

Last week was my sweetheart's birthday!

I asked him what he wanted for his big day and he said, "nothing, I already have everything I need". awww...so sweet. Of course, on the flipside, that also meant that I was on my own coming up with a gift idea. no laziness allowed.
When I finally came up with a perfect gift, I gave Andrew a few "hints" (because he hates suprises). The hints were awful and made the gift sound horrible! We laughed and laughed as the gift sounded worse and worse and I was reminded of how lucky I was to be married to someone I have so much fun with!

This year, Andrew wanted a very chocolate cake...
I was going to make him a train cake, partly as an inside joke, but also because it looked awesome, but then I realized he was an almost 30 year old man and I ended up doing this one.
instead. :)

He had a great birthday!
Andrew got...
Birthday Cards, birthday cake, museum tickets, an L.A. trip, a dinner with friends at Roscoe's Chicken-n-Waffles, wrapped up presents, LOTS of birthday wishes, a free BirthdayClub Red Robin hamburger, home from work early, that suprise gift we laughed about, a yummy birthday dinner, phone calls from his favorite people, Rome- the series on dvd, and a fun suprise still to come!!
I love my Birthday Boy.

Along For The Ride...

Andrew is much more spontaneous than me.
He loves to just get in the car and drive. I never know where we're going.
If we do have a place to be, it is not uncommon to take the "long" way or the scenic route, and occasionally to just go the opposite direction all together.

He just wants to explore.
We have run into some pretty cool places... One of my favorites was this place that looked like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. It totally deserved a picture, but I didn't have a camera that day(dang it)! So, I've learned to bring one along and luckily I had it during our most recent exploration.

A long drive without a destination and then this suddenly appeared...
Isn't it crazy beautiful?! Some kind of bottle garden....or forest, In the middle of nowhere.

I love it.

Lights, Camera, Action!

One of Andrews favorite things to do is make his own videos....which, I know many of you have seen! He's really good at it and it's what he spends alot of his free time doing, so I wasn't too surprised when he came home today with this huge green screen to set up in our living room.
We decided to try it out using the cutest member of our family....

This was our green screen shot (obviously):
and these are our edited pictures: COOL HUH?!
(Thank you Dad T. for letting him borrow it, he's been wanting to use one for awhile!)

Andrew is 28!

Andrew celebrated his 28th birthday last week! On Saturday we had fun celebrating with a few friends and family members at T.G.I.F. ( a tradition he has enjoyed for several years now).

And on Sunday we had a big family dinner for him at the Hamptons and it was wonderful that his mom was able to come. We all took turns around the dinner table saying nice things about Andrew. We had a good time telling Andrew how wonderful he is and how much we love him....
There were even hugs and kisses shared!
It was a great day!!
