Welcome to the world...

ELLIE KARLENE
arrived today!
Congrats to Zak and Rachel!
She was 8 pounds and 11 oz. Born at 2:10 p.m.

They gave her to her momma for 60 seconds, then rushed her away to the baby nursery to be monitored. :( She had a heart murmur and continued to have irregular heart beats all day. :( I went back to the hospital tonight at 7pm to visit and snap some pictures but she was still in the nursery. No visitors allowed.
BUT...
Last I heard, she will probably get to sleep in Rachel's hospital room tonight, so, Rachel will finally be able to spend some time with her!!

She's a cutie.

PICTURES COMING SOON!
(updated-7/18--pictures are here)!

A new arrival

Welcome to the world!
...and congratulations to Bradley and Jammie!
She doesn't have a name yet... three names are being debated.
She is either Alice, Daphne or Layla.
She was born July 3rd at 11:52 am and weighed 9 pounds and 1.8 oz. She is adorable, as you can see.
She broke her clavicle bone being delivered so she went straight to the NICU and hasn't been held yet- not even by her mommy or dad. :(

But her mommy and daddy visit her and can touch her little hands.

They adore her as do I.

****Update****

She has a name!!!

Jammie is almost ready to POP!! :)

Jammie only has 5 weeks left until her baby girl is born! Today we celebrated by throwing her a shower...
We went with a fun POP theme.

Little girl doesn't have a name, yet (I'm routing for Alice).
She will be my 4th niece and I am sooooo excited to meet her!

These are my 3 lovely pregnant sisters...
(I predict all three are carrying girls?!?)
...and my pregnant Grandma. :)

It was a fun day.

Abbie Mae...

My little sister, Abbie, is getting married tomorrow and we have had fun getting ready for the big day...
Our family trip to the temple was sweet and special...

...and Abbie's bachelorette party was wild and scandalous...
We can't wait for the grand finale--- tomorrow--- when she marries the man of her dreams!
*****UPDATE-----a few pics from Abbie and Brady's wedding day...

The stork is going to be very busy...

It's been nice that with both of my pregnancys, I've had friends who were pregnant right beside me. It would be no fun going through such horrible things alone. (smile).
But, it's soooo extra- super- duper exciting that I get to be pregnant (even if its only for 8 more days) with two of my sisters!
I am so excited for both of them!
Jammie and Rachel are both expecting their 1st babies and they both found out the good news on the same day!
I can't wait to see their bellies grow and meet their little babies.
9 months is too long!

Little Girls

My sister Chrissy was my very first best girlfriend...We played together, we wore our hair the same, we sang and put on shows and dances (under Chrissys creative direction, of course)...We grew up together, borrowed eachothers clothes, taught eachother how to do makeup, fought over bedroom space...We went everywhere together, played hard, shared friends and LOVED eachother...Now, Chrissy is playing a new game. The best game ever. She is a sexy wife and a mother to the cutest little girl. Being able to go to my little sister's baby's blessing for her little girl was the best. Chrissy dressed little Rya in the same blessing dress that she wore as a baby being blessed. It was precious...and of course I cried like a little girl. :)

MY -NOT SO- LITTLE SISTER

This is one of my favorite people in the whole world!

This is my little sister, Rachel! Isn't she the most beautiful girl in the land?! Of course all of my 5 sisters are beautiful and amazing, but for today, Rachel is on my mind. She just had a birthday this week and she is not so little anymore... She is getting married in a few weeks! She's all womanly and in love. It's fun to see her so happy and lovey-dovey with Zak.

I was remembering when we were little girls...
Chrissy, Rachel and I shared a room. We had a daybed with a trundle bed underneath. I got the top to myself (being the oldest) and Chrissy and Rachel shared the bottom. Once Chrissy got a little bit older, she realized it wasn't fun sharing her bed anymore. So our parents made us take turns sleeping with Rachel every other night. Chrissy and I would get so mad when it was our turn to share. Poor little Rachel was left out and bed less. She ended up sleeping on a little pad on the floor. So sad.

Of course, she grew up, eventually got her own regular size bed and now we all want to spend our days and nights with her. :)

She is the best person and an amazing sister. We tell eachother secrets, swap advice and always laugh together. She understands me and she loves me anyway... I don't know what I'd do without her!
